Services

Four ways we work on mature Ember codebases.

What we do

Most teams come to us with one of four problems: they don't know how healthy their Ember app actually is, they're stuck several versions behind, they can't hire or staff fast enough, or they've decided to move off Ember and need a plan that won't sink the roadmap. Our services map to those four situations.

The ladder

Ember app assessment — the usual starting point. We audit versions, addons, build setup, test health, and team skills, and hand you a keep/upgrade/migrate recommendation with effort ranges. Everything else we do is easier to scope once this exists.

Upgrades & modernization — LTS-to-LTS upgrades, classic-to-Octane conversion, addon replacement, and Embroider build modernization. The work that turns "we can't touch that" back into a normal codebase.

Feature delivery & team augmentation — senior Ember engineers shipping features in your codebase while mentoring your team, so the work continues after we leave.

Migration off Ember — when leaving is the right call, an incremental strangler-route migration to React, Vue, or Svelte. No big-bang rewrite, ever.

How engagements work

All work is hourly time and materials, staffed with senior US engineers, run as project engagements or staff augmentation. Scope, staffing, and timeline are agreed through an initial conversation — tell us where your app stands and we'll come back with a straight read on what we'd do and in what order.

Most engagements start with an assessment. Tell us about your app and we will say which of these actually applies.
